Gallery Natsuhiko
Gallery Natsuhiko was established in 1984 in Tokyo's fashionable and artistic Aoyama district. The Gallery aimed to provide a focal point for the promotion and exhibition of modern Japanese print-making. Many of the artists exhibited at the Gallery, and included here in the Online Collection, were working to expand and revitalize the artform by applying modern techniques and sensibilities to a form for which Japanese art has always been renowned.
Gallery
Natsuhiko continues to promote the work of these
ground-breaking late-20th century artists and encourages the efforts of
a new generation of Japanese print-makers to maintain the vitality and
relevance of the artform. From its current base in Saitama-shi, just
north of Tokyo, Gallery Natsuhiko can now offer the work of these
artists to collectors and enthusiasts around the world as part of its
Online Collection.
